AUS-8 steel offers an exceptional balance between toughness, edge sharpness, and corrosion resistance. Additionally, AUS-8 ranks among the hardest, toughest, and most rust-resistant knife steels and it's a trusted favourite that enthusiasts prefer time and time again. The extremely comfortable handle of the HT-8.5 is also made of ergonomic, glass filled nylon and thermoplastic rubber.
