Powa Strut Fitting Instructions

The Powa Strut Spotlight Mount is quick and easy to setup, for your convenience we have included some simple steps below:

Step 1:

Remove the Gas Strut & Bracket and the Hardware Pack from the box

Step 2:

Cut off the Zip Ties to separate the Bracket and Gas Strut

Step 3:

Open up the Hardware Pack. This should include:
2x Bolts, 2x Metal Mounts, 4x Plastic Grips

Step 4:

Unscrew the Nuts from the Bolts (don’t lose your Nuts)

Step 5:

Slide 1x Metal Mount onto a Bolt (curve should be going away from the bolt, so it would look like an umbrella)

Step 6:

Slide 1x Plastic Grip on after the Metal Mount so the flat parts are touching

Step 7:

Repeat the last two steps with the second Bolt

Step 8:

Put the bolts through the Gas Strut Between the two poles on the thicker ends

Step 9:

Slide another Plastic Grip onto the end of each Bolt on the other side of the Gas Strut (the Plastic Grips should join to be clamping both poles)

Step 10:

Slide the Bracket onto the Bolts through the two holes (the Bracket should be flipped from how it was zip tied)

Step 11:

Slide the Bracket fairly close to the top of the Gas Strut

Step 12:

Screw the Nuts back onto the Bolts once placement is complete (Nuts have something to lock them properly once fully screwed)

Step 13:

You should now have a completely put together Powa Beam Powa Strut Window Mount for Spotlight!

The Metal Ring zip tied to the Bracket is needed with the RC220 (Lightweight Spotlight Remote Handle) for a tighter hold. This part is not needed for the RC500 (Quick Draw Spotlight Remote Handle)
